The Maurice (Mo) Gillett Collection in the Stills Gallery

The Movieum of London archive presents the life's work of one of the most well known gaffers (Lighting Technician) in the British Film Industry. His personal photographic and Cine records go as far back as 1933 Henry VIII starring Charles Laughton through to Tim Burton's Batman. The works give a fantastic never before seen insight of behind the scenes of the most important films shot in the UK in the last century. From original scripts including An American Werewolf in London, signed stills, personal making of cine films including Flash Gordon, call sheets, set plans from Oliver Twist (1968) and of Course Mo's incredible list of credits.

The Picture above from left: Frank Sinatra in Road to Honk Kong (1962), Harry Secombe and Mark Lester in Oliver (1968), Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor in The Spy that Came in from The Cold (1966) and the late Mo Gillet himself.
